One of our favorite things about traveling across country is finding out where America runs. A friend’s wedding took us to Virginia Beach, where Runner’s World magazine tipped us off to First Landing State Park, not far where the earliest settlers first arrived in America. This 2888-acre state park provided 2+ glorious hours of running through Cypress trees covered in Spanish Moss, over wooden bridges, along beaches and sand dunes, and among eerily beautiful swampland forests. Thank you @runnersworld for the tip!
